Nurture Omaha offers prenatal lactation classes and car seat safety classes designed to prepare you and your family to meet your new baby.
Lactation classes are taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and car seat safety classes are taught by a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). Learn more about our upcoming classes below!

Class description:
In our Car Seat Safety course, you will learn everything you need to know about how to keep your children (and yourself!) safe in the car! Crashes are unpredictable, therefore we strive to provide you with the newest information on how to prevent and reduce injuries! Learn about the different types of car seats available, how to find the right car seat for your child, and how to find the best car seat that fits your budget, your lifestyle, and your vehicle. You will leave feeling prepared to buckle your child in safely to their car restraint and how to install the seat in your vehicle.
You will be able to book a time for a FREE car seat inspection and installation at the end of the class. You will also receive FREE car seat checks for the life of your car seat in that particular vehicle when you take our class! (Car Seat Checks without class are $75)
There is no age requirement to attend this class. You may be pregnant, have a newborn, have a toddler, have teenagers etc. It's never too late or too early to learn about car seat safety! If you are expecting a child, we do recommend to take this class before adding a car seat on to your baby registries.
Pricing information:
$100 for class and car seat installation
If you are a health care provider or work with children (doula, birth educator, day care provider, pediatrician, dietitian, etc.) and would like to take the course to expand your car seat safety knowledge please contact us for special pricing.
You will receive:
-3 hours of car seat education full of evidence-based recommendations and the newest car seat safety research. The detailed 2 hours of education will be sure to keep your children safe in vehicles.
-Lists of local resources on where to find more car seat safety help!
-Lists of where to find the best deals on car seats and local stores with trade-in events!
